Thread: Anyone Else seem to be locking up durring escort missions?

Im having a problem maybe somone might be having the same thing. Durring escort missions seems never fails when i get near the end the game freezes and luckily im running XP pro i can get out without restarting but its annoying. My system specs are WinXP pro, Radeon 9800 pro 128, AMD 3000+ and 1.5gig of ram. I know this isnt the tech section, im just curious if others with near the same specs are freezing.

I had the same problem. That happened once for me during an escort mission. It was right at the end of the mission when the freighter would hyperspace out of the sector and the game would lock up. It worked fine for me after I restarted my computer and ran a scan at the Launchpad. My system specs are: Win XP Pro, AMD 2800, Sapphire Radeon 9600 256, 1 gig ram, and cable broadband connection.
