just wanted to bring this to people attention if it has not already

I was flying shotgun in my fiends y-wing and noticed that I could not see his wp's and I was not getting any creadit for his missions even thought we where doing them together in the same ship.

Also when he got a mission like an escort mission he could see the wp but I couldnt even when I was the one in the pilot seat and he was the gunner. Again this was in the y-wing and it was my y-wing. So we had to land and when we did it fail his misssion because I couldnt see his wp to go to it.

Will this be fixed?

Thanks

I'm having some similar experiences...

I would have thought that grouped missions (duty missions, not training missions) would split credits between the group members who are within the vicinity when you finish the mission. Unfortunately this doesn't seem to be the case... Either it's a bug, or it works fundamentally differently from the ground game, where credit rewards are split between nearbye group members.

Is there a way to activate this for the current group? ... or do we just need to meet up afterwards and argue over credits?

I am having a blast in jtl, and I've been a player of the ground game since launch... I'm looking forward to fixes that add a bit more consistency between the UI, and game mechanics, on the ground and in space.

Well you can either group on the ground first. Or you can select the person's ship (/target XXXX) and do a /invite while in space. Either works.

and I was not getting any creadit for his missions even thought we where doing them together in the same ship. You should get Credits for the ships you kill....group members do not get a share of the money. They are just missions...they are apart of your leveling process. You will never get any Mission Rewards.

Also when he got a mission like an escort mission he could see the wp but I couldnt even when I was the one in the pilot seat and he was the gunner. Its HIS Mission...not yours. You don't need it to level up.

Again this was in the y-wing and it was my y-wing. So we had to land and when we did it fail his misssion because I couldnt see his wp to go to it. Which is why he pilots...or you gun....or take your own ship

Will this be fixed? Some of it might....but I'm not sure.

Thanks

Another thing I would like to point out.

2 ships you and your friend....attacking a Tier 2 TIE....= 400XP as long are you hit it atleast once.

1 YWing same TIE = 200xp Split amoungst you....

Always better to take 2 ships.
