Thread: Need Help On Ship Upgrades!

Hey, i just got JTL expansion 3 days ago! All, i know from what friends told me...is loot and use..move on! Well, i know the best place for XP for a pilot that i found out so far is LOK sector. Well, my skills are 1/1/1/1 and my engine is decent and my weapon is ok...395 max damage. the speed is something like 0.333 i dont know if thats right or not but yeah i keep getting killed, and i cant seem to loot anything that would help my ship out at all! I keep going into space and i may kill three or four tier 3's but since its a spawn they keep coming and yeah since my ship isnt that well upgraded i get torn up! Does anyone have any suggestions where i can go for really good xp and possiable places i could loot some useful stuff! I bought a regular tiefighter ofcourse since the starter cant be upgraded. i'm almost at the point of getting a block on the 2nd row i got 5k to go, but that took forever. can anyone help me. The server i'm on is Chilastra username Vitock...any help with this will be greatly appreciated!

hey yah thx yall. But, i still need to find the best weapon i can for level 1-2 and a the best shield i can also...that will make a HUGE difference...i got a very weak shield and a weak weapon, and yeah anyone thats on the server: Chilastra that knows of anyone that makes excellant weapons or ship componets please i'll greatly appreciate it. Anyone could also give me any information on destroy missions that would help me also...and where i could find them.

I have some components in my shop, which is in Night City on Rori. You will find it behind the city garage.

When I was at 1,1,1,1 I had weapons doing 500-900 damage each (had two on my dunelizard). I don't remember what the other stats were. If I were you, I'd shop around for a shipwright who has decent components at decent rates. Buy the best stuff you can from him and then when you loot components that are better than what you have equipped use those.
I also recommend that you take the components box first when you get enough xp. Many of the tier 1 ships have enough room to be equipped with level 5 components. Before I retired my dunelizard I had two weapons doing 900-1800 damage a piece. These combined with the rest of my level 5 components allowed me to complete entire duty missions in Yavin with 0 repairs needed at the end. Each duty mission would get me about 1/2 - 3/4 of a tier 2 box.

Btw, I'm a privateer. The other pilot profession ships have different mass capabilities. So what I said above may not apply to these other pilot professions.

I'm on the Chilastra server also and will hook you up with free newbie loot. Just PM me. If you're 1111 I'd suggest going to the Rebel base in the LoK system where there's Tier 2 Y-Wings and Tier 3 X-Wings. Good xp in my opinion. Or you can join our mission group and get about 50,000xp per mission plus a place in line where we help you with your missions.

When you hyperspace in the low left corner of the map make sure you load into a low danger zone.
Also why not just do destroy missions - i did 2/2/2/2 doing nothing but a few low level missions and the rest destroy.
I am now 3/3/2/2 3 days later. (These tier 3 missions do need friends.)
