Thread: Before I buy JtL, have these bugs/issues been addressed ?

3. No, they have made the ships different. For example...an a-wing outperforms the other rebel ships in speed/manuverability. This is because they made the acceleration/deceleration of both speed and turning a set ammount depending on the chassis. On the same end, an a-wing has lower mass than the other ships. However, the y-wing has a ton of mass, but really bad speed/manuverability. The ships are pretty much different now. In a big way.

4: Not always. It's much more manageable now

5: Yes, they've been made more effective

6: No, only the Tier 3/4 missions are hard enough that you might want to bring a friend

7: No

8: PVP

Loot-wise, the only things still better than crafted are capacitors, engines, and maybe boosters. I think that a fully-experimented piece of the rest will be better off than the equivalent looted stuff.

So, before I order, can you tell me if the following issues have been rectified ?

It depends. I can make reactors superior to looted ones. I can't make capacitors superior to looted ones.


Right now we have only had 1 spawn of the new JTL resources. The copper has terrible conductivity and limites the upgrades we can make.

well you dont have to group to get missions. Looted stuff seems to be better still. Countermeasures seem to work fine. And no the Npc's dont constantly barrage you with missiles.

Ah yes, they tweaked the reactors at the end of beta since they were junk before that, I guess the other components are on the "to do" list.

The missions used to require grouping in the higher tiers because as soon as you attacked one vessel, everything else would immediately unload 1-2 missiles at you each which ALWAYS hit because counter measures did nothing. So if they've changed the effectiveness and likelihood of NPC missiles, that should alleviate having to group somewhat if you're a capable pilot.

1: Yes, you are still forced to enter Kessel to do your Master missions.
2,3: All ships have static modifiers that make them handle differently. A Y-Wing flies like a brick compared to a Z-95 or X-Wing.
4: No, thankfully I have only been hit once with missles in the whole time I've been flying since JTL went live (compared to the 10 or so in one flight session I had in beta in a newbie zone)
5: Don't know, yet.
6: They don't *require* grouping, but, it sure does help. This being an MMO, that isn't necessarily a bad thing.
7: Not always.
8: No, not currently, except PvP.
