Thread: Is it really as easy as that?

I completed the final kashyyk station arc quest and recieved my red tie yesterday (2nd try not that good to do it on first lol)

and i was wondering is the corvette for master pilot exactly like that? after gun 5 was taken down had no trouble takin down the sheilds and engines and i assume getting the guns on top after that would just be a matter of launching missiles curved around from under the thing, so is it that easy or is there something to worry about.

No, theres are more fighters, and two tier 5 gunboats that follow right off of the vette

Not that much really, the gunboats will keep going on their merry way if you disable the corvettes engines leaving it behind. I just use IFF scramble when I go in to take out the engines and otherwise ignore the gunboats.

The master vette isn't that hard, by then you should be able to deal with the minor fighter screen and those gunboats.


Oh, and any pilot worth their salt in space destroys the gunboats. If you're lazy and leave them, they circle at the vette's exit point and block future spawns. I'm getting sick of having to take those out every time I do a vette because the last pilot who did the mission couldn't handle two gunboats flying in a straight line.

The one big difference between the mission vette and the master vette is this: The mission vette flys in a relatively straight line, the master vette makes pinpoint turns all of a sudden that can bring all the guns to bear on you. If at anytime you are on the Master Vette, if you see it start to make a turn back away as quickly as you can. The vette turns on a pin and bounces around for a bit till it settles in on it's new course.

imo the worst part about the kessel vette is the 2 hr spawn timer.


you an imp, so you have bstrike should you need it. theguns on the top of the vette can beblown up from outside their arc of fire if you slowly creep up the side. also rebel assault gunboats as im sure you are aware cant fire down, so if you play your cards right they will never even fire at you. as for the fighters, those are a non-issue for you obviously if you completed the kash vette mission solo.
