I have posted in other places, and to date I have not seen anyone having success getting rid of the lag in the game since JTL. My system runs a P4 3.6 mhz processor, on an Intel 15PBL (I think) motherboard, 1 gig of DDR2 ram, an ATI X700 PCIE video with 258 megs DDR3 ram, two SATA drives in a RAID 0 config (SWG runs from the RAID array) I am running XP home edition with SP2. I can run EQ and EQ2 with no lag problems, I was able to run SWG at 25-30 fps before JTL. Now I have a very bad slide show going on. I actually freeze for well over a minute in the starport with 1 fps and a ping of well over 1000. What happened?? Is there something I can do to get some enjoyment out of this system with SWG/JTL?? Would uninstalling JTL help the problem?? I am at my wits end with this. Even loging out takes forever now. Antbody got any advice??

Open launchpad, select game options then the graphics tab where it says vertex/pixel shader try setting at 1.4 hit ok close everything then restart client.Can't guarentee it will fix your troubles but it worked for a friend I had try it in game and solved his low fps problems.

i was loading into a starport and a bh killed me before i was even loaded i mean what is that about? i didnt even haeva chance to do anythign cause lag in this game is so bad when u go to citys. i sent a ticket in and they cant even give me back my exp because they say they have no way of knowing if it happend or not. they need to do somethign about this i am a duel masterd jedi master healer master enahncer its not liek i woudl of died i could of at least goty away if there was no lading lag or whatever stoped me from being able to do anything and stuck at loading screen. if the devs want to do somethign about the game maybe they wan tot do somethign abotu the lag porblems in theed coronet all the citys. why fix a game u cant play because traveling takes to much time because of lag! if i go to coronet then theed i just get booted to the character screen cause lag is so bad. if u want to player ver player in theed or coronet were everyone is mostly no dice cause u cant move or do anything. i dont understand how they can let me become targetable when im not even loaded that just doesnt make sense to me. how am i supposed to place this game if i cant? its imposible somethign needs to be done about this problem and somethign needs to be done wtih all lag in the cities cause its just rediculous

defrag your HD at least once a week. Finds it cuts down my load times 50%...

This exact same thing happened to me the first day of the CU. They wouldnt give me my xp back either. You just have to tough it out and go grind with a group... It sucks, but its what ya gotta do.

i dont care about the exp it doesnt matter to me. What i am mad about is that this can even happen. It just doesnt seem right. I was able to get loaded and was incaped but wehn i tried to regain concisousnes it wodul say u cannot regain conciousnes while incapicitaded. Well isnt that the point when u use that skill that makes me mad to i cant use a skill wehn u know u can. thats like saying u cant heal when hurt its just stupid.

sounds like a case of bad luck more than anything. i agree with defragging the HD. also what are the specs of the comp you are running and your connection. i load in 20 seconds in every city with np and my comp isn't axactly the cream of the crop. and i am running a DSL connection. when i was running only 512mp of ram it took forever to load and as soon as i jumped up to 1 gig it was a HUGE improvement. I wish they would make it so you are not attackable until you actually moved or something, that would be a nice improvement. But, i try and stay out of the busy cities and take the back roads everywhere so a BH can't have the opportunity to jump me like this.

I'm so glad I got more memory..Lag is a thing of the past now.
