Thread: MAJOR Kash vette bug discovered!

Today i was helping a friend with herCrimson tie mission when we discoved this bug, wewerewaiting forthe vette toget 8800m from the imperial base, but at 9700m some random guy comes over and starts blasting guns off the vette. We sent him a tell and he apologied and said he though we could use help so we let him join us for the escort, not2 minutes after this some moronic azzhat flys over and calls in Bstrike3 on our vette and proceeds to blast the hell out of it, we sent him a tell, telling him to lay off our mission and all he said was "Whatever, dont see ur names on it" Just short of blasting the reactor, the vette turned white and his bomber strike turned one of our group members into a tier 3 xwing to space dust.
This SERIOUSLY needs addressing, since its a mission spawn dont let any stupid moron come along and be able to fire on it, the guys almost cost us the entire damn mission, luckily that first guy felt bad he took out the guns so it couldnt defend it self from the azzhat and used his ship as a human shield over the reactor and got disabled during the waves of ships. Something like this should NOT be allowed to happen and generally amongst the guild was considered griefing and mission stealing and everyone reported the azzhat.
Tomo, i think this should be a issue that the devs need to address, this had been a major problem recently for other people since they put the cool ships in teir 4, we are getting more of the morons in space now, since its a mission target, under no circumstances should Anyone but the group be able to damage it.

At least you can take the mission, I've been stuck in a loop since release and can't get that far. The person on the ground says go to the station for the mission, the person in the station says land and talk to the person on the ground for the mission. I'm one of the ones that discovered that saying Thin and Weak is the worst thing you could do.

I agree I had this same issue when helping a fellow rebel on this mission.
The kashyyyk vettes should not be targetable by people not in the group and who did not have to EARN the quest themselves.

I've actually found a fix around for the loop. Drop your current pilot profession, grind another, then come back and do the original faction squadron and you can get the advanced x-wing or crimson tie as long as you make the appropriate response this time around.

Yeah! Well except that he left out the fact that it hasn't worked for everyone who has tried.

Also needs to be that mission targets should not be able to attack / damagepeople outside that group. I was in Kashyyyk 2 nights ago,goofing my Decimator. I watched as a guy came by doing a mission against a tier 5 gunship, the guy died and the gunship turned on me. I returned fire (as I was in the turret at the time), but recieved the "this is not you mission" buzzer, yet the gunship was tearing a hole in my shields. Shunt to shields, jump in the pilot seat and away I go. Took 5 minutes of flying to finally put enough distance that it stopped pursuing me. If it wasn't for speed, elite shields and elite armor, I would've been toasted.
