Hey, I've had JTL for awhile and an IG friend was getting me interested. What is the best way to level up in my little light TIE fighter...i guess it takes some boxes to qualify for my Grevious Ship I've been holding onto. I went up the other night and was taking some other faction ships out, but man...killed over 10 of them and can hardly see any change to my XP

Well when i was starting out as a corsec pilot i went to the cor system to the trifecta star hype point .....there are mostly teir 1 and 2'spretty easy to kill even with no pilot boxes except novice.....reason why this is a good place to start grinding xp is because the spawn there for the ships are non stop so u never run out of anything to kill.....also another tip is ask some people from ur server to help u out and bring u in there muti-passanger ships to get some xp.....i dont know what server your on but if ur on corbantis id be glad to help

Destroy duties are fairly good, though never-ending, non-aggro spawns are likely better (save for the extra credits you pick up from duty missions).

Well, it really depends on what you Pilot Level is.

For example, I'm Neutral 4333, Rebel aligned in space when I go overt. What I've found is that the Rebel B-wing, X-wing, and Y-wing are the easiest ships to take down at this level in Kessel. If you go to Kessel with a 4333 template, you can own these ships easily, they're all slow and go down quickly. The B-wing gives the best XP, over 7000 per kill. I hate killing my own boys, but I think of it like getting XP in a high level training scenerio. Then I don't feel so bad.

When I do this, I use my Arc-170, so they may or may not be slower for you ( I bought some good stuff for it, so go prepared.) From what I could tell before I got the ARC, the next best ship is the Kirhass, or however you spell it. Thats a good ship, but you need a fast engine, good guns, and the turning really sucks unless you do it at 3.4 speed. Turning catches up with normal then. Besides, you don't wanna overshoot your target anyway.

He is an imperial pilot, cant use the ARC-170, plus the Kihraxz is for freelancers only

But yeah, just go to kessel and kill rebels, fast XP. Or ask a master pilot friend for a ride in his/her POB ship.

Just thought I'd point out the destroy duties are not never ending. I finished one a couple of weeks ago against black sun from the RSF Tier 4 trainer.

I think the last part was against 6 Tier 5 attackers which wasn't exactly difficult.

As for grinding...

For my early boxes for my AltImperial Pilot I just went to Rebellions Blaze in LOK and took out Tier 3 Nym Enforcers.

Also don't forget when you get to Tier 3 you don't need XP, you just need to finish the missions. Tier 4 though you do need to grind the 1000000xp per box...so much loot comes out of this so you can make quite a bit of cash if you decide to seel it.

Hipe this is helpful.

I didn't say they were never-ending, you parsed it incorrectly. I talked about duty missions, then about never-ending (though better to say high respawn rate), non-aggro spawns.

The only "never - ending" Spawn I've actually encountered was in Kashyyyk at the Gatol (sp?) Pirate POI. The NPCs are all Tier II and III, and fly in formations of up to 8. I used to think that about 30 were present at one time, but, I have no idea now. It is insane to see! So many explosions one can barely see, most of the time, with so many (initialy) packed in, such a tight locale, that misses often result in direct hits on heretofore unknown opponents!

I have gotten the spawn down to zero though, but this does not last for long at all. I've flown there in a number of craft, from a Heavy Syck, Dunelizard to a Bel.

Fun! So far I've not encountered another spawn like it. (As a bonus, there are several spawn points for pirates near this one, though, this is the heaviest of them).

I'm not sure about the Jillion Bolts, Droid Fighter Spawn, that might be fairly unending as well, though, It takes me far too long to kill them to find out. others?

I've mastered Weaponsmith on other toons but that was a year ago now so it will be great to get back into Weaponsmith.

Cheers all.

Yes. It still gives the best xp.
