1) Get the deed (duh)
2) Make sure you have the "Has gotten 5 badges" badge
3) Generate ship
4) Have components to fill said ship
5) Outfit ship
6) Launch ship

That's the requirements to be able to fly the ship. As far as using it....that's a whole different ballgame.

Exactly what I said. The only "important" one in there is listed. #2

That is the only badge needed. No quest, no special anything. Just the "Has gotten 5 badges" badge. Most of the new RotW ships look specifically for that. A little searching on the forums would have told you that, since that's where a lot of bugs are happening.

You'll need pilot 4-x-x-x Or so says the skilltree which you 'could' have checked.

I figured that was a given. Checking the skillsheet is pretty much the first thing any pilot should do. But, to simplify, all RotW ships (save the heavies) are 4-x-x-x cert.

4333 is pretty darn easy to get too. You get to train the first box of tier 4 without having to do the mission first. All you need is the 1 million XP. This is easier that it sounds if you do tier 4 duty missions.

And insanely easy if you remember that all of Tier 3 is just missions and doesn't take any xp at all. Every time I've worked on mastering a squadron, I usually cap my 1mil xp before I finish the 4th Tier 3 mission, so it's pretty much train the last Tier 3 box, head to the Tier 4 person, train the first Tier 4 box.

"Tier" is the level of pilot you are.

Tier 0 = Novice
Tier 1 = first bottom level
and so on up to Tier 5 which is Master Pilot

They use the same thing to denote the level of NPCs you are going against. A Tier 1 NPC will be easy, Tier 5 would be similar to a master pilot
