I'm really p****d now of the rebel master mission, coz i spend almost 12 hours in Kessel, waiting for the corvette.
It is also unfair, that imperial single pilots can easily destroy the corvette with bomber strikes. Rebels and Freelancers have to attack with alot of starfighters to destroy the corvette. I beg u SOE to do something about the respawn times of the corvette, coz waiting a half day for this ship isn't funny anymore. Also do something to balance the difficulty to destroy the corvette between Imps and Rebels/Freelancers.

My 2 cents about the Rebel/Freelancer Master Mission.

P.S: I've done now my Master Mission. FINALLY! After 12 hours of waiting.

Don't even get me started about the corvette, ANY of the kessel corvettes for that matter. (well you did kinda)

Bomber strike is acutally incharacter for the empire. How much do you know about TIE's, and how the empire employs them within the SW universe? TIE's are not a rag tag fleet. But enough of the ganon, incharacter BS.

Corvette spawns once every 2 hours i think. If its not spawning its because the spawn is bugged (again). From what i understand, not killing the two gunboats is what does it.

The more I read about the Corvette, the more I think I'll never make master.

I'm lucky if I can get two hours in a row at any one time to play this game, and apparently the whole process of getting a group together, then waiting for a spawn takes much longer than this.

It's really not as bad as anyone makes it sound. I've soloed them along with star destroyers in a properly outfitted X-Wing along with a couple deaths.

Bottom turret (turret 5) first.

Then while under the ship it cant hit you. fly a fair distance AHEAD of the corvette, and make runs on the two shield generators, they only take 5-10 hits.

When the shields go down hit the ENGINE!. When the vette stops moving the gunboats keep moving creating a massive weakness in the corvette. Once the engines are down position yourself below and to the side of the corvette to take out the remaining turrets with missiles or guns. When the top turrets are down hit the reactor, then the bridge, easy.

Star destroyer is even easiar. You can nail both shield generators in one run. Go down to the entine where nothign can hit you, disable its engine. If possible without dying head to the reactor as fast as possible. You'll probibly need to use IFF spoof to get to the reactor, but a few hits will take that out. The bridge is the easiest thing of all because you can take it out from the bottom without the turrets shooting you.

The respawn timer on the Star Ravager isn't itself the whole problem. If you can be looking in Kessel for 12 hours (anything more than 2 hours, really) and not see it then it means something is stopping it from spawning. That thing is usually two Imperial Gunboats that were the previous Ravager escorts that were never killed. They have a nasty tendency tocontinue on their flightpath to the other side of the system, get the the hyper out point, and spin there forever. While they are there, another Ravager will not spawn. Killing two spinning Imp Gunboats is no pleasure cruise, too.Blow them up and the Ravager should spawn in 2 hours or less.

People who give quick and easy tips to blow up Corvettes but fail to mention that not killing the Gunboats can stop future spawns are, in my opinion, partly to blame.

/me takes the blame

all you have to do is goto the exit point and pound on the two gunboats from the last 'vette from just outside their range, and the ravager will spawn a couple hourse later. also like he says when you kill the ravager chase down the boats and blow them up too.

I can't find the shields! I played the role of lemming and threw myself repeatedly at the corvette trying to hit the shields and I never did. Got weapons 5-7 stripped of it though. Can someone tell me where to look for the shields or post a picture of them?

The shields are the hardest part of the vette to hit

Here's a quick little diagram of where the shields are:

Top down view of vette:

Bridge

The way to hit the shield is to either use missles or to fly ahead of the vette, do a 180, and aim for the side of the area where the bridge connector meets the body
