Normally I dont have a problem with lag (despite being only just inside minimum spec) but I have noticed that whenever the enemy taut box pops up it has a detrimental effect on my system performance (i.e. lag spike) obviously in bigger engagments the volume of taunts can be a significant problem

Anyone know if we can turn this off or if not perhaps the pilot corres. could ask the devs for an option to disable this?

it will only work for non-mission mobs unfortunately =/

mission mobs will still taunt you.. except in duty missions, only the boss mobs (every third waypoint) will taunt you..

if what I read in the patchnote about UIS file being fixed is true, hopefully those taunts won't freezeframe us anymore

I get no taunts whatsoever...worked great for me
