Thread: Cor Sec Mission bugged?

Hello everyone. I figured that I would try to see if anyone else has had thisproblem and what they did to fix it. I've posted on two dev "Issues" threads, submitted a bug ticket and a CSR ticket as well, and have gotten no response from SOE. If anyone has a solution, I thank you in advance.

Location:Coronet and Corellia Space
Issue: On Sunday I was given the quest by the Cor Sec recruiter to hunt down the Hidden Dagger Eliminator and kill it. I launched and was given the last known waypoint. After following the waypoint I proceeded to kill his bodyguards and then tried to kill the Eliminator. There was alot of lag, he was in an a-wing, I was in my prototype scyk, and the battle raged for a very long time. After about 10 minutes or so he just disappeared. I had him targetted, and that disappeared as well. He just disappeared off of my scope. This was aroud 9:00 pm EST on Sunday 01/16/05. I logged off. On Monday 01/17/05 at around 8:00 pm EST I went to the Cor Sec recruiter to see if I could "reset" the mission by talking to him, but he wouldn't talk to me. Just said that I had something that I should be doing. So I went back up and flew around Corellia Space. I eventually came across about 10Hidden Dagger ships, among them about 3 or 4 Eliminators. I killed all of the ships and went back to my recruiter. I got the same response, still wouldn't talk to me.

I am now maxed at my skill points for the level ones, and I can't move on because I can't train since this mission is still not completed. I have sent a CSR ticket, a bug ticket and posted once on these boards already. The thread I posted in seems to have disappeared. I waited over an hour last night for a CSR to get to me, and I had gotten no response.I was on from 8:00 pm EST - 10:00 pm EST.
I'll submit another ticket tonight if I get the same response from the trainer.

Have you tried aborting your mission from the datapad if possible?

I didn't know that I could do that. Thanks. I'll try when I log on tonight. That's why I figured that I would post it where other players could see it. At least I would get a response.

Thanks. That did the trick.
A CSR left me a message stating that there was no way that they could help me. 
I knew that if I came here someone would have an answer for me that would actually help.
