Thread: Are the Freelance Jabba Missions broke?

1. I've been referred to the fat slug by Talon Karrde having progressed through the Valarian Missions
2. I get the Jabbas Palace Option appear from Space when requesting to land....and the space station NPC allowed me to land
3. I have the Palace Access Document in my inventory and it's signed
........but for some reason I still can't get in......I've searched other threads but can find no definitive answer
BTW I'm an artisan with no combat skills other than the ability to pilot a ship, so me fighting anything is out of the question
Anyone shed any light??

i thinkyou haveto actuallydo the theme park and gain access to the throne room if your on the Gorath server i'd be more than happy to help get you there.

Heh, solved it........
I had to give the forged papers to the Smuggler Pilot outside the Palace who then chirped on about a mission for the Palace Chef, but gave me an option to enter the Palace itself when conversing.
His parting comment was 'what's the smell? It smells like glue' Heh!!!
For general information I have not done the Jabba Themepark, so it appears it's not a necessary requisite to gain entry

What forged papers?
I have been done with tier 2 for some time now, but cannot get into the palace. Nobody at the palace will give me a quest.
Who do I talk to in order to start the themepark?
How do I find Valarians to kill (I have -35 Jabba fp, -145 Hutt fp, and -5000 Thug fp)?
Anyone?

Just look for Valarian missions on the mission terminals around tat

Doing missions set by eitherSmuggler Alliance Pilot Trainer Talon Karrde at Mos Eisley Cantina or by the Valarian Wench in The Lucky Despot. One of them is a mission against a smuggler. When he is destroyed the loot dropped by him is an unsigned Jabba's Palace entry document which you need to sign. Eventually when you have completed the Valarian missions, you are sent back to Talon Karrde who directs you to Jabba's Palace. My tip is to go out into space, and then request to land on Tatooine again. A new option to land at Jabba's Palace will be available.

wow..that never happened to me. i was told to just report to jabba's palace. i walked right in and talked to the trainer and started getting my jobs. i've long ago completed the theme park tho, maybe thats why i got in.

Hmmm, well I never got the forged papers and never signed anything. I did go to Wayfar and run anti-Valarian missions until I had over 300 Jabba FP (3 or 4 missions), then began the Jabba Themepark by doing jobs for Reelo, etc. I had never done it before and enjoyed the new experience and even the quirky storylines, so I have continued the themepark even though I have gotten in far enough to meet the pilot trainer and recieve the Tier 3 missions.
Even though it slowed down my pilot progression for a few days, I enjoyed the experience and even did some Tatoine siteseeing, earning 6-7 POI badges. In the end I think it integrated the ground and space games well, and has been much more interesting than when I flew for CorSec...I'm glad I switched.
