Thread: B wing little wings

Okay, I understand the B wing has two modes: the sideways flying "speed" mode, and the upright combat mode. And I understand you can go between the two with the "O" key.
What I want to know is if there is a way to make the "little wings" extend. When I switch to combat mode the wings are still folded close to the fuselage. Occasionally I will launch into space and see them extended, but that is a rare occurence.

This is a bug that was introduced in publish 12, I think. Prior to this, it always worked properly.

d'oh... I made Ace Post Pub 12. ![]()
I hope they fix it... I wub my B, and it looks kinda silly going into battle with the wings folded. ![]()

But it sure is easier to fire with the wings down

NOt really, when B-Wing (and X-wing) wings are folded its in cruise mode, which means blaster energy get diverted to the engines.
When they extend they activate the charges on the blasters and prime the weapons, now granted this isn't as advanced as you read in the books but all the blasters on B-wing (and X-wing) are 0 pointed so that they converge at a certain point in space, so really wings open is alot easier to fire
