I'm sure a lot of people would like to be able to do this in one format or another , im not sure how you would implement it but I thought it was best to get the idea down and out in the open so it can be chewed over.............................

1 perhaps have your landed ship as your home, with storage space inside?

2 have mini landing pads you can buy( diff sizes an costfor diff ships) to put along side your house? ( or have them available for mayors to put in cities so they can be rented or peeps pay landin fees to that city

3 or jus the abilitiy to land on planet , just would cost more to set down in countryside?

4 have cut scenes showing your ship (or type) landing?

I dunno , theres lots to add to this , i'm jus throwin it into the mix , jus thought it would be cool content vwise an also help link jtl to ground game better , jus imagine bein a bh or smuggler an settin down out side town to avoid the authorities or the mark you are huntin , great immersion............ waddya think then?????

point 4 would be a bit impossible for some people, cause they need all of their RAM loading, and not watching a cutscene

A simple fix for that would be an option to disable the cutscene in the options menu. I like all your ideas by the way

or another spin on it would be to buy a landing pad deed of some size that would fit your ship an have that as your instead ........when your on the ground game that is , would make player cities look cool an more dynamic , an local town mayor could still charge for your space cos its a ship an not a home , or not if he wants , what ever , but imp cities with ties an intercetptors etc would look very cool / same spin for rebs too or smuggler bases , this could make bases look like bases , like I said tho , still jus a bare bones idea............: smileytongue:

It would be nice if our space ships were treated like our land vehicles, and could be launched from our datapadsat shuttle ports as well as space ports.
