Thread: Can europeans get the pre-order ship?

Hi I live in Europe (France to be accurate) many french e-shoppingcompanies have a pre-order option. If I do pre-order from them will I get the pre-order ship reward? Or is it restricted to people pre-ordering on American websites which would mean Europeans are required to pay at least 10$ more for shipping purposes to get the same reward?

Threre are 2 gifts, one of them (the New speeder) only USplayers get for preordering from certain shops.
The 2nd Gift is the New Yacht, this is avaliable to everyone who have had an active account for more than 6 months - its a Veteran Reward.
So yes you will get the Ship (as long as youve played long enough) but no you wont get the Preorder Gift (the Speeder).

K thanks a lot for the clarification, hearing how crappy the Flash Speeder is I don't really care anymore regardless I hope SOE realizes this is unfair.

It would only be unfair if the information regarding who is eligible for these speeders was not made public or if you fell within the eligibility guidelines and still didn't get your speeder.
Not to worry, its something diffrent to ride around it, but its nothing to write home about. From what I can gather, the speed is somewhere between the X-34 and the speeder bike.

There are people from the eu that do have the flash speeder.
Big bad thunderheard himself said that ALL PEOPLE WHO PRE-ORDER WILL GET THERE FLASH-SPEEDER.

Actually, I think it's slightly slower than the X34 but doesnt suffer the slight speed drop on hilly terrain. I was told you can have a second rider in it, but I don't think you can...then again, I never tried. That second seat in the X34 was just where I put my brandy for long trips.

I live in the uk and have purchased the Pre-Order JTL with Beta CD online from Gamestop in the U.S.
So I should be able to get the speeder.
For possible reason would they restrict the speeder to U.S. customers only?
It makes no sense.

But you had to pay whatever the shipping from US to UK costs on top of what north americans had to pay to get the same reward. In other words, costumers of the same game aren't treated equally. Imo since the game is published and marketed in Europe, SOE or LucasArts (who ever take care of that) should have made similar marketing plans with EU resellers.
Likewise you could argue that, depending on the real life dollar to euro ratio, sometimes US players can pay much higher monthly fees than europeans and eventually the opposit can happen too. And right now 15€ is about $19
