I cant repair my starter ship.... Im on the ground and I cant use kits on.. or how do i?> I click manager and just says can not be customized..

at at space station type /comm and itll give you the option to land or repair.

In an emergency, just delete your newbie ship and retalk to the instructor. He will issue you a new newbie ship (same stats as before, non-repariable).
