Thread: ejecting damage is to much what were you thinking devs

my first eject and i side with my sis. eject is usless. why am i saying this. well when i die on the ground i get 200 damageto stats and bf. but when i eject i am not dieing but i take more damage 400 to all stats and bf. i spend more time healing than fighting. the damage should only be temp not death style with less bf.

on the ground you get 200 wounds etc and your equipment degrades when you clone


in space when you eject you get 400 wounds and equipment is fine. I would rather have wounds that can be healed than have a backpack full of stuff that has to be replaced, and i dont know about your server but on mine a full suit of copmp armor is pretty expensive

I died twice in space tonight and had a total of 400 wonds. And every time I've died on the ground I got 100 to each stat and 100 bf. Gee, maybe I do get a bonus as a fish.. er.. Mon Cal..

I have died in space several times and never had a single item decay. So I dont think the decay thing works.

DONT use eject, it counts as 2 deaths (notice how when you click eject your ship explodes twice really fast). Also meaning your components decay x2.

You never know it might get doctors to leave their tumblers and do some healing. All that lovely xp.

Components decay upon repair, note the armour and hps of your armour then go flying without shields and get shot.


Head to a space station and get a repair, the decay is about 10% of the damage that is repaired, on armour it is the armour value that decreases, havn't tested anything else... don't want to damage any of my nice toys.


As to wounds and BF, i think it is bugged... if you look at thechat log after ejecting you get the same message about the death twice. Hence the extra wounds and stuff.

Items in my inventory didnt decay. IE armor, clothes, tools, etc. Yes the ship and its gear decays but nothing in my personal inventory decayed.

they need to treat ejecting like a knocked out on the ground. you even have the health stats auto heal once on the ground or something
