Im just wondering about something: do items decay when you die in space? I want to wear my TIE Pilot Suit when Im flying, but it only has about 100 condition I think, and I dont want to lose the thing(its the only item of clothing with Imperial insignia you can wear covert).

Havent had it decay in space but my suit decayed when I died on the ground. So be sure to insure that badboy.

ship chassis and armor actually do decay when you die, the max hitpoints are lowered every time.

Aye, the ship decaying is fine, but will my clothing or inventory items decay?

Yap. Everything decays 10% of it's current value I think.

ive died many, many times and i still have my flight suit so im guessing they are invulnerable.

I have not died in space since I got my Tie suit but I died before while wearing my Armor and did not notice any decay.

Inventory items do NOT decay. Only ship and ship gear decays. Your uniform, clothes, armor, tools, etc will not decay at the time of this writing.

doesnt matter if it does anymore

they have no skill modifiers, and when the item reaches 0 condition it won't delete itself

so its all good
