This is one of the flaws of JTL. Why is it that I can only fly imperial ships. Why can't I fly neutral ships too. I know rebels would like to fly the YT-1300 and still fly their X-Wings. Why can't we fly ships that have no faction affiliation. I can understand Tie fighters and X-wings are factioned only but make other ships that we can use.

Freelancer ships need to stay certed with freelancer skills ONLY, simply because your proposed change would simply mean that there would be finally not a single reason to be a freelancer.

I kinda know what you meen. im a master freelance and even though i can fly YT that other factions wish they could fly, I have often wanted to be able to fly an Xwing so i could be part of the squad when i fly with my rebel guildmates. I wish there was a way to earn certifications, maybee by doing a special quest, or maybee we could grant permissions on fighters so we could fly a friends ship. Just a thought.
