Thread: Just got Reb Pilot 2222, Stuck 1st Dath mission :(

Hello.
What do I do, What do I do???
Just got Reb Pilot 2222
Just got first mission on Dathomir
I'm on the mission where the officer tells me he has installed an assault droid on my ship.
And I am to capture an Imp officer on lambda shuttle
I have taken out the 2 tier 3 ties, Disabled the lambda shuttle., and am currently just following it around!!!!
How do I get the assault droid on the shuttle??
I can't dock and I cant inspect
Probably a ridiculously simple answer, but hey, I'm ridiculously simple.

After you disable the ship pull up behind it and wait for the computer to up-link

You have to disable all its systems first before you can dock with it ... so do the engine first, then the weapon, then the reactor, and then you can dock.

huh? I only remember shutting down its reactor, but you're probably right

Please tell me this was just unlucky!!!!
Had another go.
I Disabled Shuttle and this time the boarding assault droid sequence started.
Got the info/whatever.
Went to next objective WP to dock with ship and hand over/ exchange info/whatever.
Continued to presumably final objective WP to again hand over the info. (Basically followed all objectives)
Just got to the 3rd Ship/WP/Objective & Got attacked by 6x tier 4 Witch??? something Ships, Ilasted less than a minute.
(I am only 2222 with a longprobe after all)
Result = Eject/Ship Destroyed/Mission failed argh and lol

Sounds to me like you just ran into a spawn this is were a group can really help you out. But a t least it keeps it intresting

This is a pain mission,. you need a group of pilots to give you a hand as the shuttle is overpowering (rear of it) if your on tonight having ago, let me know in game please, will be on around 745pm just mail me and ill give u a hand

Be aware too you can get help from non RSF freelancers also. I helped a guildie with this one last night
Once you get to tier 3 basiclly they are not easily solo'ed so find some people to help

Ok, I just did this mission 2 days ago.....disabling the lambda shuttle and download data was easy....the hard part is those tier 4's attacking you.
Here's the problem with this mission for anyone trying to do it solo.
there are 2 ties and 1 interceptor at the first mission.....take too long killing the tie's and the shuttle takes off so be quick in disabling the shuttle first.
now after the ship gets the data/you complete the first mission, the next mission will immediately spawn...however, if you did not take out all the tie's from the first mission, they will follow you to the next mission (which is usually less than 2k away). After each mission any remaining fighters will again follow you until you kill them or escape father than 1000 meters........
At any point during your mission you may encounter a static spawn of tier 4 (maybe tier 5) ships that are not part of your mission....the static spawn can be anywhere from 2 - 6 ships.
Now when I did this mission, I failed everytime because first of all, my shields were not good enough to stand up against all those fighters...secondly, the second mission ALWAYS spawned near a static spawn of aggressive enemy ships (sometimes imperial ships, sometimes hutts/pirates...but always tier 4).
How I finally completed it solo was to fly close enough to the spawn to catch arggo from my missions ships while staying out of arggo range of the static spawns.......then once I get arggo, I turned and fled about 1k away from the mission, disabled (not killed) all the tie's.....caught up with the shuttle (ignoring the static spawns, the lambda shuttle will do more damage to you than 3 tier 4's....the turret is a pain and will eat your shields in seconds).......but once I disabled the shuttle, I finished off the static spawns....
The reason I ignored the static spawns is because they usually were no where near as fast as the tie's...most of the time they are pirates and pirates are a lot easier to catch then interceptors or any level 4 ships....
IT wasn't easy....I finsihed with no front armor and very low shields but I survived.......
Oh yeah, it wasn't until I got some great shields that I could complete this mission.
Biggest tip though is to stay away from the static spawns...always survey the area right before you get to your mission waypoint....it's nothing more frustating than your mission having 3 - 5 tier 4 ships and then another 5 tier 4 ships not even apart of the mission spawn....I really hate that.....

Well whe I did it with my Reb friend we just stayed clear of the aggro and they did not touch us and all we dealt with were the ties
