I looted what I think might me a good piece of space loot. However the more I look at it the more I think it is bugged. I have been saving my level 10 loot drops so that sometime in the future I can get a really nice component RE'd. Last night I looted a level 10 capacitor that only had only 5K mass and 700 reactor drain. Now in my mind this would be really nice to have RE'd with other level 10 caps that have really high stats. Now here is the part that gets me scared. The reverse engineering level is 5 but the equipment certification is 10. I have never seen them to be different before. So it this item really a level 10 or is it a level 5? I am at work and do not have a screen shot of it.

The Sorosuub Turbo Weapons Capacitor - yet another oxymoron in this game. Yeah, it's evil. Makes you think you're gonna have an uber L10 until you see the RE5 rating. You've got an RE5 cap there, it's just L10 in usage, and the stats usually make other L5s look like crap.

So if I RE it then it would have to be RE'd with other level 5 caps? Also if it is RE's with other level 5 components what will the usage level of the final product be? Will it be level 10 if it is the first one in or level 5 is it is the 2nd, 3rd, 4th, or 5th? Is this thing actually worth keeping? And one last question, if I was to sell it to the chassis dealer (I never sell anything to him, I put it on my vendor for the same price so other SW can buy my loot) would I get 10K or 5K?

All I can say is try it with Level 10. May get lucky.
