Greetings...
Ok I didnt want to do this untill after the combat upgrade. but It looks like I will have to see what the Community feels about doing it now.
It seems to me that we are all feeling a little low at the moment. We have all lost a lot of Friends and Enemies over the last few weeks. But with that loss we have also lost a lot of Ego's as well. Ego's that would have prevented what I am proposing from happening. Like Ive mentione b4 we seem to be entering a new phase of SWG. Many people have mentioned the idea of a joint venture in relation to placing a base from each faction in a remote location. this base to be used for friendly PvP between factions.
Well think of this for a second. a lot of friends and mine came together to create Liberty Island. a Island POI on correlia that housed 3 Large Rebel bases and 1 small outpost. how many people who were involved/ attended PvP there enjoyed it??? I'd gamble the answer to that question is ALL of you. But it also created a spark within the Rebellion. It gave many good peopel new goals, new excitment, and rejuvinated SWG for a lot of People. at the time PvP had gone stale, the Ego's had taken over and PvP was all about insults and Grudges. The Rebellion were on our knees in terms of PvP. KDS were too Dominant and the Rebellion could not get it's act together (in terms of Coallition).
What I think we need is something other than just the Grind. people are running around doing the FS Grind and JTL arrives. and to a lot of people it looks like just another grind atm. So the excitment is starting to slip away a bit. and people are just feeling a little low with the many leaving posts, the addition of the JTL Grind, and other products out there to give people new excitment.
What I feel we need to do is create new Excitment within SWG. As much as we cry out for content. the best content is that Content we add ourselves. Wether you feel SOE should provide the content or not. the Point is why just sit there watching all you friends leave, due to lack of it. Why not come together and create our own content. SOE do not determine our Economy. we do it. So why not take it one step further and create out own Content, Like Liberty Island. SOE did not Create Liberty Island WE did. And you only have to look back at the leaving posts to see that most people add there time spent at Liberty as one of there most memorable moments. what I need and waht i feel al ot of us need is GOALS. We have non left. we have grinded most proffesions, we are bored. so lets create a few player created goals.

THE CITADELS
2 Huge Fortresses, Created by the joint ventures of the Rebellion and the Empire.
This will take a lot of time and effort on both sides to accomplish this feat. But just imagine it. 2 Huge Fortresses, attached to existing Cities. a place of awe. a place of great battles. a place of fun for all.
I need this, You need this, We need this.
If we pull this off we will be the envy of the SWG Communities. And if any of our old friends return to see how SWG is doing. they will be astonished at the sight of the Citadels. and the PvP/RP that is conducted there on a daily basis.
Just imagine it each Citadel consisiting of 8 Bases at least, with 4 Turrets on each base, Minefields, Strutural Emplacments to impead progress. The construction and placement of which make it a grand challange for either side to take and hold any of the Citiadels. Just imagine the RP Potential. the Potential for all the Servers best Crafters to have vendors within each Citadel. This Proposal is not just for the PvP Orientated Players this is for the whole Community. Once the Citadels are built the Potential for fantastic RP/PVP and general In Game excitment is Limitless.
in the upgrade there is roumor of bases being able to construct Walls and better defensive attributes for all bases and better more intresting Add ons for bases aswell.
The first steps to doing this is to get a group of Guild Leaders form both sides together. the Location the Construction and so on are all to be decided. Wether the bases be attached to an exsisitng City, all these things need to be disscussed.
All I want is people to come on board and make this vision a reality.
Come On Chimaera we did Liberty this is just the next phase.
Come to the main Chimaera forum and Post on the sign up thread and have a read of the Original thread about the Citadels.
This Is YOUR chance to breath life back into Chimaera and be part of 2 of the most awesome Player Generated Areas on all the SWG Servers.
So Come be part of something so big. so Special it will live on well beyond our Playing time in SWG
(If you build it they will come)

More like the most awesome Player Created Battlefield this Game will ever see. 
Not to mention the RP Potential a thing like this offers

Yeah but KDS were respectively a load of winkers imho. Everyone of them i met wanted to merely insult me or ruin my gameplay experience.

Please also note: what we are trying to do here is not just for PvP. we want to make it a Mecca for Rp'rs, Crafters, Merchants, Hunters.
And it also not exclusive to Guilds. this is open to the whole Community
