I'm in agreement on this one. Missiles should have a longer range, all around- as it is, there's so little time between an AI missile launch and when you have to fire countermeasures, that for me, the missile often hits before the warning shuts up. =/
(nevermind that there should be two warnings: one for being locked, one for inbound)
And blaster shots themselves- both range increases (or variable by weapon? a new stat?), and shot speeds (also variable by type, but not a stat?) And doesn't need to be a whole lot, not 2x, but even 25-50% would seem better.
Heck, could we just play around with altered physics (such as these suggestions are) on TC?

ok, dunno how I did it, but this was supposed to be a reply on the thread about Star Destroyers being huge and missiles being too short range for them... any mod mind moving this post, or just go ahead and nuke it. ^_^
