Thread: Will the release of Star wars episode iii Bring new content into the game?

Was just wondering if along with the new Star wars movie if the Dev's will add new content from that movie? Like points of interest or new ships etc etc

i reckon they will add new content with the release of epIII, maybe new planets ? who knows ....

Wookiee Armor is new content, "for" episode III. Shouldn't expect much for jtl.

Doubtful. When SWG was released there was hardly anything at all from EP II. They had to add the Geno Cave and SBD much later.
For example. Anakin and Amidala are on Naboo in the fields and he is riding on the back of a big tick/horse creature. Been all over Naboo and still havent seen one of these things.

Doubt it. We don't have content from other movies, that would have existed during this time frame. We have Endor from ROTJ, but we don't have Dagoba from ANH, or Hoth from ESB.

mabyt them things he rides went extinct in some freak ranger accident between that film and the time of the game.

it's a nuna. examine a dwarf nuna and you'll see it's the same thing... should be in the game though, espically since they were in the movie.

I think they will be adding new content to the game regardless of Episode 3. the question is are they going to release an expansion pack per year? Its possible we will see another expansion within a year.

I hope they do release an expansion per year cause If they are as gd as jump to light speed then 
They really pull the game in the right direction, really all thats needed is to redo missions and the skill system plus maybe with the expansions they can improve the graphics like in everquest I'd like to see that city in the sky or a death star in swg

What about progessing the timeline to between ESB and ROTJ (a.k.a. Shadows of the Empire time period)? They could add Bespin, Dagobah, Hoth, and put a partially completed Death Star orbiting Endor. Make it an Imperial space station where Rebels could dock and it would be like a huge dungeon (kind of like the Warren, only bigger). I dunno, I'm just thinking out loud here.
But I don't see much EP3 content added. Maybe some things/places that are left over from that time period, but aren't in EP 4,5,& 6. like Naboo.

only problem with putting a partialy built death star in and opening it to the rebs as a dungeon what would theimps and nutrals do.
