Probably asked 100 times before, but I can't find any answers 
Can privateer pilots declare overt to their faction in space?
Thanks for any feed back.
Found an answer in another thread. It appears that a rebel who has chosen the privateer profession can declare and join in PVP when aboard his privateer ship.

Yes, talk to one of the faction space stations, they will give you the option to go overt.
Also if you talk to to the space station in Dathomir and choose to go to Deep Space it will tell you how to go overt.
