The preview shots and general ablities of the new ships coming with ROTW are really cool. I like the fact that the Devs have included "Modified" versions of the classics for better performance. The modified X-wing looks way cool as domost of the other vessels.
However... (you knew this was coming as the forums are only used for complaints :smileyvery-happy
What is the deal with the RED tie interceptor?? I understand the reasoning behind it (Imp Guard) but still, RED??This ship is my favorite one in the whole game. I fly it exclusively even though it is undergunned and outclassed (except in manueverablity, though the Advanced is equal with better guns) by other Imperial fighters. I was really excited to see there was an "Modified" version of the awsome lookingInterceptor - but then that funky RED color showed up.
The "Modified" TIE and Advanced aren't RED, why should this one be. If anything it should be the Advanced which is the "Imperial Guard" vessel. Why would mass produced, disposable ships likeInterceptors be the "Guard" vessels? The Advanced would certainly be a better choice and more fitting for this Elite role protecting the Emperor. I know some folks will like the color, I for one do not.
Okay, rant over. I hope thatat least they will allow those who want to fly it a choice between black orred....
...otherwise I willrename my ship "TheRed Barron" and make machinegun noises everytime I attack in myred Fokker dr1 TriplaneTIE Interceptor....

Actually, the orange squiggle guns have sounds that resemble a 30mm cannon more than a laser
