Thread: Help with faction xp in space

Ok, I went into space to try and gain some faction xp. Forgive me, its been awhile since I went to space...
Im a 1/2/21 reb pilot.
I blew up a tie and no faction points so I searched the forums and read some stuff about going overt, flew to the alliance space station and cant get it to talk to me. Searched the forums some more and couldnt find any info on how to go overt in space.
Can someone let me know how this works?

Ok, I got it, had to find the ui command list to talk to the Reb space station and declare. /comm it was, lol.

Let me add something to it: as of a few moments ago, i tried to get some faction xp in space, but it didn't work. I first flew to an imperial space station (yes, i am an imp... 
), i declared myself overt and i shot some rebels to hell ... (I used a hyperspace function to get to another quadrant to find some rebels)
BUT i didn't get faction xp!!
Or can it be that i have to shoot people-rebels instead of NPC-rebels?
I just don't know what ive done wrong...

I think it depends on your lvl skill i get fp all the time up there.. i would beware if i were u there are other overts up there itching to kill (pvp)
