Thread: Finishing tier 4 rebel mission

Can anyone help?
I have passed all of the skill boxes in rebel pilot except the last one I need.
I need to help fighter attack a imp space station. In the first part, their is a group or Tie's and a gunboat fighting some Z-95's and if I leave them alone, and all of them get destroyed, mission fails but then it tells me to go to the next one which has like 10 ties attacking me while I wait until some rebel escape something. Only made it to 37% escaped.
Can someone help me on passing this damn mission?
I've done it like 12 times with other people and I still can't pass it!!!!

I let the first part fail and went on to the second part.
The second part I was able to complete solo.

I used my Awing and flew around in circles disabling ships as I flew.
I never chased another ship in a straight line for more then a second because if you give a group that large a target for more then a second or two they will chew up your shields.

I recall nearing the end of the mission and both my front and rear shields were nearly gone so I had to use IFF scramble. But not to escape but rather to give me a few moments to regenerate my shields and disable another ship.
By the time I completed the timer for this mission I had disabled every Enemy ship.
