Thread: JtL + 64-bit Windows XP?

Just received my brand spanking new Athlon 64 and mobo, and wanted to know if SOE is planning on offically supporting a 64-bit OS in the future for JtL (or Galaxies in general), or if I'll have to plan on a double install of 64 and 32 bit OS's?

And, sadly, even though I was unable to get time off to attend the Fanfest, I'd be more than happy to add my testing expertise to JtL to test out my 64 bit hardware.

I havehad a few problems with SWG but especially JTL Windows XP Professional x64-bit Edition RC2 1433. Movement on the ground is weird, first I am running too fast for a few seconds, then I am moving in slow motion. In space it is different, I warp around the whole time. I have all the latest drivers for all my hardware. Has anybody had any experience with SWG and WinXP Pro x64 and tipps on how to get it working? All my other games run as good, if not better as in the 32 bit version of Windows (don't have any other SOE games like EQ, though).

Update: Found the culprit. It was Cool'n'quiet. I had to disable it (Just set you Windows Power Settings to Home/Office Desk) and SWG runs just as well as in 32 bit Windows XP now, if not a tad smoother.
