i had a fantastic idea while decorating my yacht! what would you think about a "command" ship being implimented? not necesarally a capital ship, but a ship that has the ability to track a pvp battle. maybe they could incorperate a type of hologram program to track the battle. the ship would have all friendly ships targeted so you could watch them, and you could communicate to each group of ships. it would only have modest weapons, sence it isnt a capital ship.

Sounds like a cool idea, but I don't think it will be implemented in the near future. There isn't that much PvP in space at the moment, so they probably wouldn't be used much.

i would hope more pvp will take place. i havent actually pvped in space yet, seing as im 2222. im on gorath btw, and i hope to get others active as soon as we all get up to level

We are experimenting with using a Decimator as an AWACS. Similar Idea. I wish I could get a rotodome for it though

The Nebulon-B Frigate is the ship that matches your discription. The Nebulon-B Frigate WAS orginaly designed for the Empire but the Alliance had captured several of the ships at one point in the GCW. I THINK there are already Nebulon-B's in the game but I have never seen one so I'm not sure. But anyways, the Nebulon-B has long range sensors that make it a perfect Mobile Command Ship. In Star Wars Empire Strikes Back, Luke Skywalker is onboard a Nebulon-B that was converted for Medical duty. For those of you that have no idea of what I am talking about please refer to Star Wars: Essential Guide To Vehicals And Vessels.

yeah they're are Neb B's in the game, but they dont do anything, and I think they're size was readjusted

yea the neb b are pretty sweet, that would be make a nice command ship. they would need some spacy interior room, and a few guns to defend it. but isnt that considered a capital ship? if we could have that we might as well get the mon cal capital ships (home 1)

or you could just use the existing POB ships: Have some kind of equipment you can put in them and put a control console in your ship and it would let you give orders to everyone in your group.

Yes the Nebulon Bs are in the game. One of them is floating in the Endor system near the space station.
