Thread: POB's should have repair droids

Just had a though ( sorry if its been already posted )
why can't we have repair droids in the VT, YT, and Nova? they could run around and fix the busted stuff. we all have a droid or 2 why not put them to good use while in space. R2 was able to fix the Falcon, even did some repairs to Luks X-Wing while in combat so why are our droids more or less just a means to execute overload commands.

The droids we use in space flight act as the 'droid brain' of the ship. If you want damage fixed, make sure your crew has the tools to fix it.

yeah, but we have droids that repair other droids, why not make droids that can repair ships aswell, to keep people in the loop maybe make it so a said droid would really suck down the batter power, so that droids wont just beable to repair a ship indefinatly.

yes i know, there just a brain, but i'm sayin i'd be nice if they were able to do useful things like repair ship parts in space. astrodroids are more then just a brain, there a walking tool box. why not put some of them tools to good use?

people would also have to reload the repair tools in the droid.

POB ships need a lot of things, including repair droids. But I doubt we'll ever see anything to make POB ships better for a long, long time.
