Thread: HELP Starship Component Blueprint What to do with it?

I have a Cargo Hold blueprint but I haven't the slightest idea as to how to create/get created the actual component from it.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Go to a chassis dealer and talk to him. Chassis dealers can be found in the Spaceports. They can construct a chassis from the blueprint.

If you're talking about the Cargo PORT blueprint, it's just a painting.

I've never heard of a blueprint for a cargo hold... Shipwrights can make them without a blueprint. I have heard of a cargo port blueprintwhich, like the person above said, is only a painting for decoration.

I've been to the starports in both the Mos Eisley and Mos Espa but neither dealer seemed to be able to. Remember it's a starship component blueprint (cargo hold) not a starship chassis blueprint. I've had no troublegetting a chassis blueprint made into a schematic.
I'll have a second look at it though.

Bring it to a shipwright and see if he can make it for you. Most schematics/blueprints have a requisite skill displayed when you examine the item.

Thanks for the info. I was thinking of trying that exact thing as soon as I got home from work. I'll keep you posted.

I was afraid someone would tell me that but it looks to be true. No one in-game uses a blueprint to build with, only schematics. A rookie mistake. I'll keep my eyes open a little more in the future.

D'oh! I never thought about that... my apologies. I thought perhaps you had some quest item or loot drop I hadn't heard of before.
