Ok, so here's the deal
I reactivated my account last week.
Come to find I have week(s?) worth of respecbackstocked from the CU..
But, I've been spending most of my time in JTL.
Now I'm hearing, if you have a respec available, you can't get badges..
so if I master epsilon squadron, I won't get my ace badge..
Is this true?
Is there any way for me to know when I'll be able to?
Should I wait until I'm able to get the badge before picking up the master box?

This is kinda frustrating. I'm enjoying a lot of the changes but these minor things like respecs messing with the rest of my gameplay are irritating.

Or not... there is a bug that is stopping people getting the master pilot badges even if they are eligible.
I contacted a CSR and got a response something like - Dev's are aware of this issue. It is affecting a lot of players. We cannot do anything about it and have no timetable for a fix.
So you may get it, you may not.

Yes, you have to wait after Respec Period. Then you get the Badges, the space one after ysour first trip in space.
Dunno if it bugs yoiu about the final "Token Respec", after your Free respec Period. Use that too.

During the respec process yes Master badges are disabled. However, upon completing your respec period you are awarded the badges for the professions you have at the final respec. So if you do Master Pilot for Black Epsilon you will get the badge when respec is over for you.
