I just obtained a Y wing fighter and I have loaded and unloaded atleast 3 different weapons on it and none of them will fire, it just makes a clicking sound when i push the button but no firing. Anyone?

Check your componant listing on your ship and make sure you have all the needed parts for operating everything like capacitator, reactor, etc.

Chances are you either forgot your capacitor (I did that first time on my Y-wing) or you overloaded your reactor.

In your targetting display, look for the little red semi-circule to the right of the target center. If its not there, (or is just a little red dot at the bottom of an unfilled crescent), then you are getting no weapon power, meaning, most likely, you either have no capacitor, or a busted capacitor.
