Jump To Lightspeed Archive

Not that this is a game-breaking error or anything. . . but it is awfully annoying. No other components exhibit this behavior when I get blown up. Just the Astromech. It's quite easy to forget to replace him, and even more so since I respawn at a station, where I cannot change my loadout right away. Is there a reason for this? Am I the only person who experiences this? Does this also happen with non-Alliance ships (that use flight computers)?
