We all see the transports hanging around and I used to just blow them up for the heck of it because after inspecting them and trying to dock with them, nothing would happen.
Well, the other day I docked with one and it said I got bacta?
And I docked with another one and it said I got something else.
Both times absolutely nothing appeared in my iventory.
Is there a purpose to these things?

i've tried this too, i was looking to do a little piracy and liberate some goods for my guild. as of now i have never gotten a single thing out of these ships so i just gave up. i really do thing the devs should allow us to engage in acts of piracy against npc freighters. they could make it so that if we attack the freighter the local authorities would engage us, if they disable our ship they fine us and confiscate the stolen goods or just flat out destroy us, it would add some spontaneous content and would be exciting. they would also have to make it so that the level of the freighter affect the quality of the loot we get.

It seems so easy to code that it makes me think they shipped the game unfinished.
Oh, wait... I didn't say that ![]()
Anyway, I tried too to dock with NPC cargo ships and I got no luck docking with them. Nor even looting. Just 100xp at much. I fully support your proposal ![]()
