I've just spent the last 3 hours looking for a damn corvette to complete my piloting ace mission. For at least an hour of that time, there were 4-5 others scouring Kessel with me. This isn't like I'm doing Jedi quests or anyhting. It should NOT be this hard to find a stupid corvette.

Thank-you for the enormous waste of time.

I can understand your frustration. Im on the Exit Mission myself. There is also a lot more ppl out there than you think its just hard to see them since it seems that the background feels like a black hole void.The corvette spawns every 2 hours from the last one that was destroyed. Once it spawns all you need to do is 5% damage on it to receive credit for the mission. Just be patient and keep a friend out there in that area to keep watch on the next spawn. Then you will be on your way to being a Master :-)

if the corvette escaped the last attack against it, the escort gunships will stay in kessel. they must be destroyed before another corvette will enter the system. check the waypoint where the corvette jumps out of kessel and destroy the gunboats if they are there. if you leave them the corvette will never spawn.

Yep, kill gunboats and it will pop. Also, to the posters on exit mission: I've mastered two trees and didn't have to do the exit mission, just go to the admiral and get on with master missions. Not sure all squads are like this, but I have heard others say they did the same thing.
