Thread: Meaning of content?

Can some one explain to me what people mean when they say WoW or other games have all this content that SWG/JTL lacks?
I thought content had to do with the amount of different things one can do within a game or the options one has.
Im a subscriber to WoW as well, and you can’t do half the things there that you can in SWG, starting with something as simple as character creation. All characters within a race in WoW look exactly the same.
I think anyone that left SWG for WoW will soon return.
A lot of people run to different games because they are new, but we'll see who's left standing when the dust settles.

It all depends on what the person is looking for in content...
Right now in SWG once you master your proffession there is not much of a end game sure PvP but without the proper tools that gets old and frustrating fast
Many people enjoy WoW more right now because of a few things
1) its new...When ever you play a new game you always enjoy it more there are new things to learn and find.
2) WoW has 1000's of quests not just run and kill lair quests each one is somewhat differnt there are alot of just kill 8 of these guys or collect 8 of these things but there are other quests in the mix. Also you have 5 or so instance's within the first 30 levels of the game. and most of the other ones that will come are most likely to be for higher levels.
3) Hope WoW is new right now people have high hopes for it. SWG let alot of people down in alot of ways by not living up to there expectations.
SWG and WoW are two differnt types of games WoW is more around fighting and getting loot as in SWG has that its more about the community aspect of the game. building cities working with people to get things crafted etc... I enjoy both games but right now I spend most of my time lately on WoW because its new I seem most of what SWG has to offer.
So I'll wait silently in the background till we get the CU upgrade and such then I will have something new to do with SWG.
I don't think any game will ever to beable to create content faster than people can explore it.
