i know it doesn't sound like these 2 belong together, but hear me out.

First off, there should be an "unload all from ship" button that will unequip all the stuff from your ship so you don't have to do it one by one, but that's not the main point.

Players should be able to use their "bank storage" for holding their misc unused ship parts. Instead of swapping out parts from your inventory, you would be given the additional option to store them in the corresponding city bank account towards your 100 item capacity for that region. That way players that frequently change parts would not have to fudge their inventory for when they go fly.

that's about it, it's simple and makes sense....
