Thread: Suggestion

One thing i have noticed about grouping in this game is that people are extremly greedy, no loot lists, harvest lists stick, because anyone can do it easily.

Perhaps make squad leaders gain the ability to assign who can loot/harvest as an ability.

For instance, 20 people in a group and its the 10th members turn to loot, squad leader gives them permission. voala, but its group member 19's turn to harvest, Squad Leader gives that member permission to harvest the corpse..

Some might think its too much management, but i garuntee' id be in that group in heartbeat.

Just two cents, thrown into an empty well

sounds like a good idea, but it would almost have to be universal. not just for squad leaders. otherwisepoeple without them will complain. don't forget that you'll never get a pickup group with ninja looters....

They should do like another popular RPG and make a display that says "%T has looted *Item X*" That way we know who has what, who skinned this animal and so on.

I am but a lowly Novice Ranger, but I had seen some talk of a 'tracking' skill beingsuggested and it got me to thinking;

There are a lot of folks who enjoy doing 'big game hunting' whether they be of the Ranger ilk or not, and I think that a tracking skill being added for Hunt Master's would make Rangers a lot more valuable to the masses; in that if you and your group have a desire to go hunt 'big game' then you do a search for a Ranger who has Hunting IV and can help you locate that 'big game' you are after.

Just a thought. Thanks for hearing my ramblings...

well with all the changes to pets i'll give it time to smooth out before i start yelling out too much, but one immediate problem i see is that it would take days to heal my pet's mind pool as a novice ch. Now if I could have it do tricks I could at least have a chance of healing it up with some downtime from what I hear. So I propose that if these regen rates are gonna stay that the trick command be moved to become available at novice and perhaps new more powerful trick commands take it's place.

My dilema now is trying to get the exp to get the trick command without being able to use my pet in combat since I can't get his mind pool back up.

I can always make stims to heal the rest of the pools.

I'm not a smuggler, but I just realised one thing... Why do you need un-armed 4 as a pre-req?

Woooouldn't make more sense for the Pre-Reqs to be Pistol 4 and BUISINESS 4?

your right... and I don't know how many times it has been brought up in these forums. The devs decided to make it unarmed and pistol for unknown reasons and I suppose it will stay that way because the game is live now.

origonally it was gonna be buisness 4, engineering 4, pistol 4, and unarmed 4, Good thing they cut this back because its not worth it to get all of those.

If the developers want to nerf the T21 i would suggest jsut moving it up the rifleman tree. making it harder to get. then only commited riflemen will obtain and use it.

Since SOE cannot be bothered to pick a correspondent, is there any reason that we cannot just put together our own report, posting it on the dev board and PMing it to the developers? I am sure that we can put to gether a consensus list, have different people work on writing up each issue, and have one person comile and present it. It will also mean we do not have to go through this process again whenever they do get around to designating a correspondent since that person can use what we put together as a starting point. If there is someone who volunteered for the job who wants to step up and manage the process all the better. I think we have to face it that the developers really do not care at all, and have not even troubled to inform themselves of the problems much less accord any priority to resolution of those problems. THe combat stutter step for example was discussed in the 8-12 response as a "least favorite bug." It is still there a month later. Any enthusiasm for this idea? On slow days at work I could write some stuff. On the busy days, I barely have time for lunch. But I will certainly work on an issue.

Player Bounties

Someone sets a bounty at a Bounty terminal (cap on min and max), bounty picks it up, tracks him, and when BH decides to attack, can auto-set a TEF within 64m, or be a manual 1 time switch(nice) to free the oppurtunity to attack. Can be single TEF, where onlyBH or ifhe has a group can attack. Bounty Paid.
