Thread: I have just started playing JLS, and I dont know what I am doing
Well you aren't alone Britboy. JTL is a lot different to the ground game in a number of areas so my first advice is treat it completely like a new game. The controls and the UI work slightly differently as well which takes a bit of getting used to. Once you do however it is fun.
The main problem is i think you got the digital download. The manual that comes with the boxed version isnt entirely helpfiul but it at least lists the basic commands and short keys. I do beleive they have a downloadabvle version of this on the site.
The most important thing to do however is go to the pilots forum. There are a number of stickied guides that are invaluable when first starting out and will answer almost all your questions. They sum it all up a lot better than anyone here could i think. Check it out.!!
Other than that if you are used to flight sims and space sims, JTL is very easy to pick up. If not its still not too hard either.

I got the digital download, and havent got a clue about any of the controls, interface, command or anything. Is there a guide or manual associated with this game? For example, what do the [ & ] buttons do? target differnt components.
I have been on the game for 3 hours now, and havent got to grips with it all. People help me...... please
