I know what my second character will be. I just wish I knew where that tree was going to start. Guess I'll just start crafting.

a lot of people will go Shipwright when the expansion comes out and this will make the ship prices fall fast! but im still going to be one myself anyway just for the fun and the ability to craft the ships and not having to use alot of credits buying them =)

I imagine it will be off Engineering 4 or Master Artisan. I doubt they make it a super elite that requires something like DE.

they said they wanted it to be easy to start on (read it somewhere) so that people could launch into space with new ships fast!

I'd wager that Shiprwright will trigger off of Engineering 4 in the Artisan tree, same as WS, AS, DE and Architect. I find it highly probable that ship components will require Master Artisan components (much like DE does) and perhaps even entire droids, armor segments or entire weapon assemblies themselves. I really think SOE is going to make it cross-over between the crafting professions as much as possible.

Engineering IV is a reasonable guess. I'll put my money there.

You haven't started yet? I have about 1-2 million units of resources already.

The ships you refer too are quest rewards. There are some new ships you can make, a heavy tie, heavy light hutt fighter and the heavy Z-95.

We've had quite a debate over them since they came out. If you like, you can read up on it in the ROTW like/dislike sticky.
