Beissa is in the throne room, but you do not have to do the themepack. the tatooine space station shall offer you a mission now, that will give you landing rights and a pass to enter the palace when you have done it.

Oddly enough ..

the Tatoinne space station used to offer me a mission ..In fact just last night it offered me a mission . However I didnt take the mission I just selected to land at Jabba's Palace since thats where I was going .. Then when I went back into space it didnt offer the quest anymore ..

It appears to me that it shouldnt have let me land at Jabba's Palace.. it should have made me do the quest.. but since it did let me land there.. it now refuses to offer the quest anymore assuming i have no use for it.. But of course I do not have the pass to jabba's palace ..

any advice/help would be appreciated

Sadly i got caught out on the same thing, if you can't get a pass, then the only other way is to gain +200 faction with jabba, as you have such a high negative faction with him, thats probably an extremely unlikely scenario.. (as a CL1 those faction points are as far away as kasshyyk without the expansion...) personal preference is to switch to corsec, which i did, if you do choose to switch though, you have to resign, which means you lose all your current space combat xp... make sure you dont have an inspiration buff going though.. i did.. so instead of losing just the 200,000 combat xp that i had gained, i lost 220,000 space combat xp, meaning i restarted as a corsec recruit with a space combat xp debt of -20,000 xp... im guessing this is a bug. but its one you need to watch out for.

It "should", yes. For my alt Lorraine it never did, hence i became a RSF neutral pilot.

The problems with getting non theme park access to Jabba's are fully addressed in the Pilot FAQ. under the How do I land at... question.

Basically, the deal is this. The moment you're told you need to go to Jabba's palace, is the exact moment the game sets a flag that means you can no longer get the mission for the pass. Most people are so busy zipping through tier2, that they don't bother to take the mission from Tat station, and thus don't realize that you get the pass from it, by doing lady Valarian a favor. The conversation where Karrde tells you to go to Jabba's is the same one that the game sets your flag from Valarian employee to Hutt employee, and locks you from getting the mission from the station.

It's a known issue, and I've brought it up with Tomo numerous times. It's highly unfair since Rebel and Imperial pilots who need TP access can get those missions at any time, and are never locked out, yet SA pilot's are blocked before they know it's needed.

This bug has been my personal crusade, and I'm at the point where on my home server, I plan to drop my current Ace title, join SA get the mission, get the pass, drop SA, and repeat 9-10 times, so that I can at least give passes to pilots who get bit by this bug on Bloodfin.
