ive got the jedi starfighter, around 2000 chassis if i remember.

ive died a few times in it and now the chassis has reduced to around 1300. expected

i wanna know if its possible to get it back up 2000? and if not, is it possible to buy another jsf?

i have done the quest, so i am guessing, if i buy 1 i'll be able to fly it. would rather fix the chassis on my jsf back to 2000 though

I believe the pilot or shipwright correspondant said that the chassis will decay down to 10 hitpoints, but no further. I don't think there is a way to repair the max hitpoints. Your JSF will always be usable, but have fewer hitpoints as it decays.

It used to be the way that you had tro rewplaye ur chassis ones it hit 0 hitpoints. Nowadays you never need to replace a chassis, because they dont decay down to 0 anymore.

Don´t worry bout it though, the "protection" that even the strongest chassis provides is is negligable. The REAL protection comes from ur shields and partially armor (if you eqip any, many don´t since it saves mass for bigger components like high - end guns or the like...)

i definitely equip shields and armor. you wouldnt survive 2 secs without it. but then again, it might be a good idea to just equip shields so i can equip better weapons and capacitor
