Not just a yes...but a heck yes
...Resource Quality is really important ...unless you are just grinding SW...and not actually making the ships

I was reading that pricing guide for ships and he priced at 1 cpu for resources for the chassis (which i dont agree with but, to each their own)
I assume the chassis does not matter in resource quality, but the other parts do like engines and weapons (i am guessing here)?

It matters quite a bit for ship chassis.... 2 lines of experimentation, ship mass (how much the ship can hold) and hitpoints (duh)

As a master shipwright I wanted to see the difference
I used the bestresources I could find and full experimentation on one frame/blueprint/chasis
I used crappy resources and no experimentation on the second frame/blueprint/chasis
The difference: A whopping 2.6% increase in mass capacity (using all points on mass exp)
The second series resulted yielded 4.6% increase in hitpoints (using all points on hp exp)
