Thread: No option for non-Inquistion Imperial pilots to land at the Emperors Retreat?

This is rather annoying - why can some Imperial pilots land there while others can't? Don't get me wrong, you Inquisition guys had it tough (travel time on the ground/having to gain access, etc) before they put in the "patch" for this problem. ButI have completed the "Theme park" and can gain access to the entire compound, but have no option to land there from Naboo Space Station. I haveeven played with the Starship Terminals inside (but of course couldn't launch from there as my ship wasparked in Moenia 
).
).Anyone know if the Devs will be fixing this for the rest on the loyal Imperial pilot cadre?

Maybe you didn't do the space station quests which get you the ability to land there?

It doesn't need to be fixed; only the Inquisition are supposed to land there.

Aren't all Imperial pilotsallowed to land at the Emperor's Retreat if you take the freighter rescuemission from Naboo space station?

The mission is only offered to navy pilots flying for imperial inquisition (and for some wierd reason RSF freelancers...) so the other two imperial squads can't get access to the landing option for the retreat.

Well, get this... it just goes to show how it pays to read everything in game, unlike most of the powergamers that read nothing and power through, you can miss out on stuff:
I was working on Tier 3, I'm a privateer in space and neutral on the ground, and as I was coming back to the Naboo space station, getting ready to land, I noticed the Naboo SS dialogue window had an extra option, offering me a mission. I do not remember the specifics. I did not feel like landing to get another mission just yet, so I gave it a show. It was a mission requesting assistance for the Empire, so since I'm RSFI guess I'm considered an ally. Dunno if other privateers can get the mission.
Anyways, the mission takes me to Lok space (I think) and then Yavin space (for sure), where I have to complete several sub-missions before the whole parent mission is considered complete. when I finally completed it, there was a system message coming from an Imperial pilot I had just helped in Yavin space saying "If you ever visit our Emperor's Retreat on Naboo, talk to any Imperial pilot outside the facility and you will get a reward."
I though, "cool!", so I headed back to Naboo space, and started pinging friends for the ER WP since I did not have it on this server. As I initiate landing at the Naboo SS, lo and behold! I'm given the option to land directly at the Emperor's Retreat!! So I land there, I walk to the pilot right next to the front door, he thanks me, gives me a 10K reward and says I now have full access to most of the ER facility!!! This rocks!!!
I tested it, walked in, andI was able to go everywhere!!! I dunno what he meant by "most of the facility" because there was not an area i could not go to. I visited the Emperor upstairs, I then went to see Vader and played him a bit of Western on my mandoviol (he did not seem amused or entertained). I was laughing so much. Here I am, a neutral privateer entertainer with 0 Imperial faction points, walking all over the Emperor's Retreat. That made my day.

Grrr...the above post just proves my point. Here's a PRIVATEER and NEUTRAL player with access to the Retreat while 2/3s of the loyal Imperial pilots are prohibited from landing there.
I do have to sayyour post made me laugh 
. It really is rediculous! You fly in space as a Neutral RSF pilot and gain direct access to the Emperor and Darth. Meanwhile thoseImperial folks on the ground have to grind through like 4 or 5 "gatekeepers" at the Theme Park before they even get a glimpse of them!

Lol, I feel your pain man... I don't know how SS missions are handed out. Are they taken from a random pool? Is this an RSF only mission? As I said, I was simply offered the mission, I had no idea what I was getting myself into, and since I was thorough in reading all system messages, I got this nice reward. I'd be curious to know if anyone else has done that mission and gotten access to the ER, and what pilot level and faction they were when they got/did it.

I tried playing western to him too but I guess he's just a stiff old fart that hurts all over if he dances or claps. It's kinda funny how slapping an ST gets you mind incapped in a heartbeat while kissing, licking or punching Vader or the Emperor goes unpunished.
And for those wondering, if I talk to any of the NPCs in the ER, they say they only talk to loyal citizens of the Empire. I guess all I have is the tourist badge.

Easy... allI meant is I'm sure there are players that *might* have done this mission and not read the final system messages stating that a reward was awaiting them at the ER... nothing more.
You know what... next time I won't post, and I won't share any mission info, thus not helping others who might be interested in doing it.

Unless they changed it recently, you only have to do the missions for Kaja Or'Zee before you can cruise around the whole place.
