Thread: Imperial Inquisitor Vrke's mission to inspect Doctor Shinss' Yacht -- need help

The Inquisitor gives you a mission to go to the Yavin system and inspect the Doctor's Yacht for possible information proving he's a traitor.
I go to Yavin, disable the Yacht, inspect and dock, recover the info. No problem
Go to the next waypoint to transmit the data. Survive wave after wave of fighter and bomber attacks to get the data transmitted. So far, so good.
Next waypoint, dock with an Imperial ship and receive some information. Good to go.
Next up, take that data to a nearby Imperial Freighter and deliver it. Here's where I'm having problems. Roughly a billion Y-Wings, X-Wings, A-Wings, and B-Wings spawn repeatedly, with a new wave coming as soon as the previous one is down to one ship. This is not so much of a problem in and of itself. I survived for 45 minutes against this onslaught. The problem is, I have absolutely no idea what I'm supposed to accomplish. There are missions like this on the Rebel side as well (Alliance Ace on Bloodfin, doing the Imperial side on Bria atm), and the waves of fighters and bombers are only intended to slow you down. Disabling the attacking ships instead of destroying them will momentarily delay the next wave from spawning. No problemo. But I docked no fewer than three times with the Freighter, with the docking operation completely finishing each time, and never got an update or a quest completion. It's obvious we aren't intended to defeat every wave of attackers, as they continue to come indefinitely.
So the question is, if not to dock with the freighter to finish the mission, what the hell do I have to do? Any Imperial Aces or tier 3/4s out there who can lend me some info? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Wow, I've tried it 5 times, and docking with the freighter hasn't done anything at all for me... other than that I can do just fine, holding off the fighter attacks for nearly an hour.
I guess I'll keep trying it. That seems to be the info I needed, that docking with the frieghter is supposed to end it.

Anyone? I'm kinda stuck on this mission, not knowing what the heck I'm supposed to do to satisfy that leg of the quest

I'd suggest trying again, it was obviously bugged, I just did the mission and docking with the freighter ended it.
