I want to build a perfectly balanced Jedi starfighter yet agile and strong in firepower with a strong shield but maybe no armor at all...


I want to know about what mark and which stats components to go into my ship.As you know its only 90k mass and ppl on my server has it with over 1.3k max speed without boosters and maintaining with decent firepower.


What quality and which type crafted parts i should look for from a shipwright?


What kind of loot i should get to get myself some RE'ed components?


Any special reward component advice?

hrm, select the jsf from your datapad hit delete buy a different ship.....

I imagine the 1300 speed is with droid programs, otherwise that's just not possible. I have the non-RE'd pre-nerf 92 speed engine on mine (good speed, low mass) which allows me to throw in a good L6 shield generator (just below 2000/2000), no armor, good L4 booster, L8/L5 gun placements, decent L2 cap, no ordinance, sensor decoy, and one of the L1 pre-nerf droid interfaces. My regular cruising speed is around 880 and boosts to 1125. With /ethrust I get to the 1300's.

It's like working with my Dunelizard. I'm still tweaking with it a bit, but that combo seems to work pretty well. At least for PvE. I imagine I'd have to alter it for PvP.

u can get 1200 with out droid components.


i can fit everything on mine....good armor, shield, boost, capcitor (50 recharge) amajoin with componets, reactor, u name it....but for my firepower...eh its pretty low but it catches up in speed...i think its 2500 dam with .250 speed (2guns). 13k mass both. its rly nice. so the think to do on grev, jsf is to get stuff with low mass....think my highest mass is my shiled....28k i think....


i would use low mass reactor, capcitor(but with good regen) and a SW can make a 13k mass engine taht goes 1200 with components. or even 5k taht goes 927 with components.....get droid interface with 2k mass in it...and just take the time to do all the overloads with it. look for good loots...my shiled 28k with 2000/2000 with 15 regen....and thats not re'd.

The problem is that the JSF and the Grievous are easily the best in the game now. There is no comparing it.
I have all of them now, the JSF, The Vaksai, The Crimson TIE and Grievous.


Here is the breakdown:


Crimson TIE 80k mass/ 1 weapon hardpoint

JSF 90k mass 2 weapons hardpoints and super high maneuvering mods

Grievous is exactly the same as JSF

Vaksai 150k mass ONLY 1 weapon hardpoint??? WTH?


Also look at it like this, the JSF is by far the easiest ship to get, with no bugs, less than 30 min.


Grievous is a little harder, but with 4 jedi, you can run down to him and kill him in 20-30 min tops as well.


Now, the crimson TIE is a wicked hard mission where you capture then escort a corvette, very very hard, need a good group.


The Vaksai is by far the hardest to get, same style mission as the TIE but with multiple spawns of tier 5 missleboats, ack, it was crazy.


There is no distinction is mission difficulty. The toughest missions should always net the best stuff.


Ok, so what can they do?

1. Give the Crimson TIE equal stats to the JSF and Grievous ships, if not better since there are a series of ever increasing difficulty missions.

2. Make the JSF missions more difficult, less buggy and longer.

3. Make the grievous ship a random drop, say 1/5 chance

4. With 150k mass, the Vaksai shouls not be as nimble, but should have 2 or 3 weapon hardpoints, and fix the bug with it please. As of now, you cannot equip a booster on it. And please make the ship look different than the ones the NPC's fly. Good grief put some effort into it.

Look at the dunelizard threads since the only difference is 5K of mass and move visability out of the cockpit.


I have a JSF but went back to my Dune when I saw the influx of all the JSF's

GOT MINE SET UP LIKE THIS:

28k mass lvl 8 shields - 2555 front and back, 14.9 recharge
1.2 k mass lvl 1 reactor - 10k generation
re'd lvl 6 weap - .6 armor .6 shields, 2.7k max damage, 23 eps, 9k mass
crafted lvl 7 weap 14k mass, 3k max, .5,.5
1k hp armor on the front and back, both around 3k mass and re'd
lvl 6 re'd cap, 47 recharge, 1200 energy, 8.5k mass
Crafted lvl 7 engine, 101 top speed, 61 ypr, 13k mass
re'd lvl 5 booster, 2.1k energy, 37 acceleration, 26 top speed. ect ect
1k mass droid interfact, 17.0 speed


Great damage, heavy tank, very quick... 1240 with programs, 1490 with booster

Mate for a little info, the best light fighter are the novice ships at heavy mass, like 95k mass.



Ok get the light fighter heavy mass variant, and go on the vendor and look for lvl7 shield generator that has a good, mass/shield ratio. Then look for something like a quadlaser something, dont remember but it is the best all round blaster. Then look for a decent lvl7 capacitor, and any engine you want. It takes time searching for the descent parts, so i suggest looking on the vendor wide search.
