I just started doing flight missions two days ago and I am starting to get the hang of it all. A couple of things I would like to have fixed/answered are as follows:
How do I disable the mouse in space so that it doesn't do "mouselook" but just leaves me the pointer? I have a joystick that I use for flying but if I have to click on a selection box from the guy at the spacestation or perhaps any of the command buttons at the bottom of the screen, I have to hit "n" or "v" or some hotkey to open a window up, then move the window aside so that I can use the mouse to click on one of the answers in a mission chat box. (Hope that makes some sense).
Next, is there a list of commands that work in space? It seems that many of the command hotkeys are different than that on the ground. I just learned through my guild last night that the [ or ] keys are used to target specific parts of a vessel, like engines. However, in the online manual, I don't see anything for those key commands.
Well, I guess that is all I have right now. I appreciate any help.

Hit ALT, just like the ground.
Check the keymap, just like the ground
Seriously, there isn't a realy good documented list of the default keymap, better to look yourself. Also, have you checked the FAQ 3.0 in the Pilot forum? That's usually the best place to start.
